Data Protection

The new regulations came into force in May 2018 and are designed to modernise laws that protect the personal information of individuals.

As stated in the GDPR Parish Privacy Notice, which has been approved by Ampleforth Abbey, we are required to have specific written permission from all Parishioners to be able to store and use their personal data.

To ensure our Parish is fully compliant with GDPR regulations you are asked to complete two separate forms. Completed permission forms must be signed and returned to Father Kentigern or put in the blue box at the back of church.

The signed permission forms will be stored at St Chad’s Office for reference and will be available should we have to provide evidence that we are complying with GDPR regulations. To opt out at any time please speak to Father George.

If you have already completed and returned the forms, we thank you and no further action is needed.
